TAKAMIYA TEIEN SARYO

A Historic Garden Sanctuary in the Heart of Fukuoka

Takamiya Teien Saryo is a refined wedding and reception venue located within a serene urban garden, just a five-minute walk from Takamiya Station in Fukuoka. Centered around the former Kaijima Family Residence—an important historic property—the venue has been carefully restored to preserve its architectural heritage while offering a contemporary hospitality experience. Surrounded by seasonal greenery, Takamiya Teien Saryo provides a tranquil setting where history, nature, and heartfelt celebration come together.

Chapel
The ceremony space, known as the Music Hall, is a light-filled chapel defined by warm wood textures and expansive windows overlooking the garden. Natural light gently pours into the space, creating a calm and intimate atmosphere for exchanging vows. Its minimalist design beautifully complements both Western wedding dresses and traditional Japanese attire. Christian-style and civil ceremonies are available, and couples may also choose to hold a Shinto ceremony at the nearby Takamiya Hachimangu Shrine.

Tea Room
The traditional tea room, preserved from the original residence, offers a quiet and deeply meaningful space rooted in Japanese aesthetics. Overlooking the garden, it is often used for private moments before the ceremony or for intimate family gatherings. The stillness of the space, combined with views of the surrounding greenery, allows couples and their families to reflect and connect in a uniquely Japanese setting.

Reception Venue
Takamiya Teien Saryo offers several reception spaces that harmoniously blend traditional elegance with modern comfort. Large windows open onto views of the garden, allowing the beauty of each season to become part of the celebration. The calm, refined atmosphere encourages warm conversation and shared joy, making it ideal for intimate weddings with close family and friends.
